Prepping Your Car For Winter

Below is a useful list of things that you can do to winterize your vehicle(s).

• Inspect tire tread (a replacement is recommended if wear is near limit)
• Check your tire pressure
• Test your headlights and taillights
• Test your battery
• Check engine fluid levels (coolant, oil, etc.)
• Use de-icing washer fluid and make SURE your wiper blades are in good condition
• Extra : add/restore your emergency kit
• Jumper cables
• Foil blanket (emergency blanket)
• Extra set of gloves and an extra hat
• Flashlight with spare batteries
• First-aid kit
• First-aid kit

This is not an exhaustive list, but a few things that can be done to be precautionarily ready! Be a thoughtful driver this winter and be safe!
